Decompressing

Things have been really full on with work again lately, so tonight I headed down to the beach to unwind. So glad I did, it was really late by the time I got there and missed the most firey coloured sky - but I'm glad I took my camera anyway

I'm so excited, I'm getting one of my photos printed to a huge canvas. It's going to be 120cm x 80cm.. hopefully it will be finished & delivered this week! YAY!!!

river's pool

River being the total waterbaby he is thinks my parents outdoor water feature is his own private pool and the best thing ever - the first time he jumped in none of us could believe it, it was soooo funny.

my sis & her hubby have just welcomed a kelpie puppy to their family

her name is molly and she's so adorable - such striking blue eyes! I love puppies!!

Big Day Out 08 was a bit of fun, we weren't going to go originally but we got a phone call from the lovely ness & shane the night before asking if we'd like free tickets - wooohoo!

finding gizmo

Our gorgeous cat gizmo has gone missing.

It's heart breaking and so difficult not knowing where he is and if he is okay. It's a week now and we keep hoping that he's just gone walkabout and will come home really soon. Fingers crossed, love you gizmo x

My love of the south west

Every now and again I get this itchy feet feeling and need to get away down south, yallingup is my heaven.

That feeling is back and while I'm on holidays with nothing much planned for this week other than having a real unwind & decompress I feel I need to do something and am pondering the thought of going away for a few days...

Looking back at pictures from my last trip is sealing the deal - now to see if I can make it happen

Standing on the edge near sugarloaf, this pic makes me want to breathe in and smell that fresh air coming off the ocean. I don't know why but I feel free just looking at it.

I love the sun peaking through the sky and lighting the water on the horizon.

This evening I was sitting alone on the rocks at Yallingup while a storm rolled in, just taking it all in. Not sure if you can see it on this small pic but the waves felt like they were going to crash right over me - it was surreal. We just don't get this kind of atmosphere up in Perth.

a magical wedding

Saturday 12th January.. my sis is married! It was the most amazing wedding - getting ready, the ceremony, the reception and everything in between was perfectly planned and just so elegant, I felt really lucky to be a part of her special day. hair colour

I'm posting this pic as a note to self, a future reminder so to speak! Finally my hair is a colour that I'm really happy with - usually when it gets to this stage I get bored and do something drastic, no going dark this time!

This is is when my little River was actually little, 5 weeks old awww! I can't begin to explain how exciting it has been to see him grow into the beautiful natured dog he is today, I am truely lucky.
